We watched 'The Thing' and had to note down at what time do certain people come up i.e. at 2 minutes a producer was shown.

For this task we had to pick a horror film and analyse it. we had to include: mise en scene, camera, sound and editing and we done 5 or 6 different aspects of them throughout the film.

9 Frame Analysis

This task asked us to pick a film of our choice and pick 9 stills. we then had to analyse the camera angle and say what effect it has and what connotations it has.

Brief history

This was the brief research. we picked 5 well known horror films and described what aspects of it made it a good horror film, i.e the music and camera angles.

Horror conventions

The conventions of horro consisted of describing what is in a typical horror. Including things like: setting character and narratives.

Brief

Create  a 2 minute opening sequence, of a thriller/horror/film noire.
